Today Brian Gallagher stepped down as CEO of United Way Worldwide following allegations of pervasive sexism and retaliation at the organization. Tina Tchen, president and CEO of TIME’S UP Foundation, responded to the development saying, “It is our sincere hope that this change in leadership is accompanied by a profound change in the way that the organization treats its employees.”
