Los Angeles Times: TIME’S UP Slams Golden Globes Response to Diversity Crisis in New Letters to NBC, HFPA

The Los Angeles Times investigation found ethical lapses and zero Black members among the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). In response, TIME’S UP Foundation launched a social media campaign calling out the lack of diversity and released two letters — one to the HFPA and one to NBCUniversal, which airs the awards.

“Your stated version of change is cosmetic — find Black people. That is not a solution,” wrote Tina Tchen, president and CEO of TIME’S UP Foundation. Read more about the #TIMESUPGlobes campaign here
