Los Angeles Times: TIME’S UP Slams Lack of Black Voters for Golden Globes, Calls for Reforms

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has zero Black members, according to the Los Angeles Times investigation. That’s why TIME’S UP Foundation launched a social media campaign calling out the lack of diversity in the press organization.
“Not a single Black member out of 87,” read the post by TIME’S UP Foundation on social media, which several Hollywood figures shared, including Ava DuVernay, Shonda Rhimes, Amy Schumer, Jurnee Smollett, Kerry Washington, and director J.J. Abrams. Read more about the #TIMESUPGlobes campaign here.
