TIME’S UP Commends Hollywood Publicists for Holding HFPA Accountable

Tonight, over 100 Hollywood public relations firms issued a letter, urging the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to “swiftly manifest profound and lasting change” to address institutional inequity, discriminatory and unprofessional behavior, and alleged financial corruption at the organization.
To reiterate the urgency for change, publicists immediately suspended participation in any HFPA events until explicit and transparent changes are detailed by the organization.

“We are proud to be in solidarity with the voices of over 100 Hollywood PR firms in calling for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to radically transform the Golden Globes.
