Society and the media have ignored the experiences and stories of Black survivors for far too long. When Black survivors’ concerns are addressed, they are often mischaracterized and silenced or they receive backlash.

In partnership with ‘me too.’ International and the National Women’s Law Center, TIME’S UP Foundation launched We, As Ourselves to fight against this erasure and reframe the conversation about sexual violence and its impact on Black survivors.
